In the elaboration of this coupage composed of 80% Monastrell, from our ‘La Traviesa’ plot and 20% Syrah, from our ‘El Pocico’ plot, no selected yeasts are used and a minimum of human intervention is used.

For its elaboration we carry out a manual harvest, with a careful selection of clusters, prior to fermentation in 500 litre barrels, afterwards, the wine is transferred to new French and American oak barrels, where it undergoes malolactic fermentation and is aged for 22 months.

The result is a red wine with personality, modern and with great ageing potential, with a deep cherry color and expressive and intense aromas, where notes of black fruits, minerals and spices, such as black pepper, stand out.

On the palate it is succulent, with a balanced freshness, great character and typicity, which goes well with red meats, big game, Iberian sausages, various stews and strong cheeses such as blue cheeses, or cured sheep and goat cheeses.
