On the nose is enjoyable oak along with pleasing earthy aromas of flint, soft leather and all-spice. The palate approaches with a very full bodied mouthfeel. It then opens up, as the strong tannins dance around on the tastebuds. It finishes with soft black pepper, boysenberry, then balances gracefully with an herbaceous-ness that will be unique to each taster. Another amazing vintage of Cabernet Sauvignon from the “King of Cabs”!

On the nose, pleasing aromas of cassis, blackberry, bay leaf, cocoa, light oak and Earl Grey leaves. On the palate, it approaches with a velvety, silky tannins with a full mouthfeel. The well balanced minerality ends with a highly structured, but soft, strawberry, pomegranate and coffee finish. The tannins smoothly grip you on the first taste, but pleasantly soften into a gracefully spectacular wine.

James Suckling- This is spiced and chocolaty with ripe dark berries, dried herbs, black licorice and mocha. Polished and textured. Medium to full body. Chalky, firm and slightly chewy tannins. Attractive and dark-fruited. Drink or hold.
